After a 17.3″ laptop for around the £400 mark? The Samsung 350E7C could be the notebook for you – a clear 17.3″ screen, Intel’s Pentium B970 processor operating at 2.3GHz, backed up by a solid 6GB RAM and with 750GB of built in hard drive storage. Weighing just 1.38kg, the Asus S200E is an 11.6″ notebook, with the Intel Core i3 3217U 1.8GHz processor, 4GB RAM and a spacious 500GB hard drive. Measuring 30.3cm by 20cm by 2.1cm, it is incredibly portable – easily fitting into your bag, yet still offering a decent specification, enabling you to surf the web whilst out and about. The Asus K55A is a sub £500 stylish laptop that provides both function and form in an attractive package. Featuring Intel’s Core i7 3610QM 2.4GHz Processor, Intel Chief River HM76 Chipset, and integrated graphics card, together with 6GB RAM, this laptop is not short on power. The Samsung NP350V5C 15.6″ laptop is a great mid-priced laptop, with an impressive specification that belies it’s relatively low price tag. The Acer Aspire V5-431 provides a compact 14″ screen, complete with 4GB of RAM, a substantial 500GB hard drive as well as the latest copy of Windows 8.

As part of the ever continuing Satellite range, Toshiba have released the P855-32G – a high end 15.6″ notebook, priced in the £650 bracket.  Finished in an expensive looking aluminium surround, it features an Intel Core i5 – 3210M processor, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, as well as a 1TB hard drive operating at 5400RPM, all running on the excellent Windows 8 platform.  Continue reading for our Toshiba Satellite P855-32G Review.
